Exploring sustainability, green construction, and solar integration
Last week, the Solavail team had the opportunity to attend CONSTRUMA 2026, held from 25–29 March at HUNGEXPO Budapest, one of the largest construction and building industry exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe.
The event brought together thousands of professionals from construction, building engineering, and renewable energy sectors, providing a strong platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business development.
A Key Event for Construction and Renewable Energy
CONSTRUMA is more than a traditional construction fair — it is a comprehensive industry platform combining construction, building technologies, and renewable energy solutions, including solar and energy storage.
A key part of the exhibition is the RENEO renewable energy segment, where solar technologies and energy-efficient systems play a central role in shaping modern buildings.
Focus on Sustainability and Green Construction
A central theme throughout CONSTRUMA 2026 was the growing importance of:
- Sustainability in construction
- Green building solutions
- Energy efficiency and automation
- Integration of renewable energy technologies into buildings
These trends reflect the ongoing transformation of the construction sector toward lower emissions, energy independence, and smarter infrastructure.
The strong presence of solar and energy solutions highlighted how renewable energy is no longer a separate sector, but an integral part of modern construction projects.
Solar & Storage: A Growing Role in Construction
One of the key observations from the event was the increasing integration of solar PV and energy storage systems into building projects.
Across exhibitors and discussions, it was clear that:
- Solar is becoming a standard component of new developments
- Energy storage systems are gaining importance for efficiency and energy independence
- Developers are actively seeking reliable suppliers and long-term partners
This reflects broader European market trends, where the convergence of construction and renewable energy sectors is accelerating.

Strengthening Partnerships Across the Region
For Solavail, the event was also an excellent opportunity to continue discussions on upcoming projects with our partners, following the successful delivery of a 2 MW solar project in Hungary using JA Solar JAM72D42-640/LB 640W modules this March.
This project demonstrates our ability to deliver reliable solutions at scale and reinforces our position as a trusted partner for future developments across the region.
During CONSTRUMA, we were pleased to:
- Meet existing customers and suppliers
- Build new partnerships across Central and Eastern Europe
- Discuss upcoming solar and storage projects
- Share insights on pricing trends and product availability
- Present Solavail as a reliable solar products distributor with ready EU stock
Face-to-face meetings remain essential for building long-term partnerships and understanding project needs in a fast-evolving market.
Solavail’s Commitment
As a B2B solar distributor, Solavail supports partners with:
- Solar panels
- Inverters
- Energy storage systems
- Mounting systems
With ready stock across European warehouses, we help EPCs, installers, and developers secure reliable supply and competitive pricing for their projects.
Looking Ahead
CONSTRUMA 2026 confirmed that the future of construction is closely linked with renewable energy, sustainability, and smart energy solutions.
As these sectors continue to converge, Solavail remains committed to supporting partners with strong supply chains, market expertise, and long-term collaboration across Europe.
